Vacancy: Office Administrator Apprentice (Fostering Agency)
We are seeking a motivated and organised Office Administrator Apprentice to join our fostering agency. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience while supporting a team dedicated to improving the lives of children and young people.
Role Overview:
You will provide administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the office and assist the team in delivering a high-quality fostering service.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting with general administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry.Maintaining accurate and confidential records for foster carers and children.
Assisting with the coordination of meetings, supervisions, and fostering panels.
Preparing documents and paperwork for reviews and panel meetings.
Handling incoming calls and emails, directing enquiries appropriately.
Supporting the onboarding process for new foster carers.
Assisting with training coordination and sending reminders.
Providing general office support to the wider team.

- Qualifications Required
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above preferred).
Basic IT qualification or evidence of IT competency (desirable).
Any prior administrative or customer service training/qualification. - Future Prospects
Progression to Full time paid role within the agency.
- What will the End Point Assessment (EPA) include
EPA (End Point Assessment) – Towards the final few months of the apprenticeship you will complete your End Point Assessment. This includes a knowledge test, portfolio-based interview and a project/improvement presentation. All assessment methods will be conducted and graded by an independent EPAO.
