Ref: AAT05 Accounts apprentice Level 3 at Rotherham Taylor Limited

The apprentice will work alongside other team members to assist in the preparation of VAT returns, small accounts jobs, process payroll and undertake other associated services, There will also be some basic administrative duties. The apprentice is expected to be reliable, punctual with a positive attitude.

  • Job Description

    Working under supervision the apprentice will carry out the following tasks for clients;
    bookkeeping
    Preparation of VAT returns
    Company secretarial work
    Processing of payroll
    Small accounts jobs
    The successful candidate will be able to work as part of a team but will also be able to work independently after receiving instruction.

  • Qualifications Required

    4 x GCSE A*-D / 9-3 which must include GCSE English and maths at A*-C / 9-4 or equivalent.
    AND
    A pass at Level 2 AAT certificate in Accounting or a L2 accounting qualification from another awarding body or A Level Accounting at A*-C.

  • Future Prospects

    Progression to Level 4

  • What will the End Point Assessment (EPA) include

    This includes a synoptic end test, a portfolio and a professional discussion. All assessment methods will be conducted and graded by an independent EPAO.
