- Job Description
Purpose of Post
• To be trained to undertake the same responsibilities as an Early Years Educator.
• To contribute to a high-quality caring environment for the children, this includes creating a warm, friendly and stimulating atmosphere in which the children can develop emotionally, socially and educationally through individual attention and group activities.Key Area

Duties and Responsibilities
Attend college (when necessary) and complete all assignments set.
• To attend team meetings and inputting ideas.
• Under supervision to provide all aspects of care for children including washing changing and feeding.
• To assist with meeting the personal and emotional needs of individual children.
• To provide adult interaction with the children in the Nursery. Undertake certain domestic jobs within the nursery.
• Undertake certain domestic jobs within the nursery.
• To be aware of the Nurseries policies and procedures and always adhere to these. - Personal Qualities

- What will the End Point Assessment (EPA) include
This includes a professional discussion underpinned by portfolio. A knowledge test. All assessment methods will be conducted and graded by an independent EPAO.
