  • Job Description

    Provide administrative support to the Facilities Teams, for example data entry, producing reports, creating spreadsheets.
    Organisation and input of premises compliance documentation into the Colleges CAFM (Computer Aided Facilities Management System).
    Log and maintain schedules of risk assessments and other key health and safety reports.
    Obtain quotes and raise purchase orders for purchases across the Facilities remit.
    Log and triage tickets in the College’s Service Management System (Jira).
    Attend to customers at the Facilities Hub Counter as required, providing basic assistance with WiFi access and initial queries.
    Co-ordinate sustainability initiatives, for example, monitoring and publicising energy usage and solar power generation.
    Support the tracking and monitoring of facilities training, including Cyber security, Data Protection and Health & Safety.
    Co-ordinate the organisation of Facilities meetings with both internal and external stakeholders, including taking and producing minutes.
    Undertake research of Facilities related subjects via online sources, best practice guides, facilities journals etc
    Act as a College First Aider and Fire Warden, providing an immediate response as required.
    Be a team player, supporting colleagues and adopting a multi-skilled approach in all areas.
    Create a welcoming and enjoyable experience by being professional, positive and friendly.

    GCSE or equivalent Any 3 subjects (Grade 9-3 (D or above)) essential
    GCSE or equivalent English (Grade 9-4 (C or above)) essential
    GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade 9-4 (C or above)) essential

  • What will the End Point Assessment (EPA) include

    Towards the final few months of the apprenticeship you will complete your End Point Assessment. This includes a knowledge test, portfolio-based interview and a project/improvement presentation. All assessment methods will be conducted and graded by an independent EPAO.
