As a final end-of-year trip, the Foundation Studies and Skills group decided to try their skills at Laser Quest at the Trafford Centre in Manchester.
It was brilliant day and our students had a blast, shooting, hiding and laughing the whole time. They were invited to choose a gamer name, the rules were explained and then off they went into the arena. Where else would the Evil Queen meet Obi-Wan and Superman in the same shoot-out? And when did “who can shoot the tutor most” become a thing?
After their session, the score cards were given out and all the chat throughout lunch at the Oasis was “who shot Maverick”, “how many times had KSI been hit” and “what happened to Black Cat?” An hour of retail therapy followed lunch and then it was back to the minibus and home to college. Our students had an amazing day.
