Alumni star of stage and TV returns to college
This week we were delighted to welcome back Evie Hargreaves from our PPP Acting Class of 2019 to talk to our current crop of Year 1 & 2 Actors.
Evie gave our students an insight into life at drama school and working in the industry, and gave advice on auditioning. She also observed their directing lesson and gave feedback to the students currently directing short extracts from plays.
Evie trained at the prestigious Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and is currently part of a UK & Ireland tour of ‘To Kill A Mockingbird’. She has also had television roles in ‘Vera’ for ITV and ‘Doctors’ for BBC. We are so proud of what Evie has achieved so far and look forward to seeing what she does next.
The Professional Performance Programme at Runshaw focuses entirely on Performing Arts and offers the in-depth practical training that you do not receive on the A Level route. We take the very best young performers in the North West and help them to improve and develop their skills before they progress to drama school or university. This is a highly challenging course for the most motivated and committed students who want to pursue a career in the performing arts. Click below to find out more.
