    Health & Social Care Certificate Level 2 at Runshaw College is for anyone who is looking for a career in the caring industry, e.g. working in care home, youth centres etc, but also for those who want to progress on to Level 3 Professional Studies in Health & Social Care & T Level in Health. A Level Early Modern History is a two year course which will give you the opportunity to study a range of topics between 1485 – 1715AD such as Monarchy, Conflict and Religion in Tudor England, and France in the 17th Century.   • L3 BTEC Applied Professional Engineering

    School Leavers (16-18)

    The Applied Professional Engineering courses incorporate exciting opportunities for students to develop their understanding and learning of engineering, in preparation for progression into engineering apprenticeships or continuing to university. The programme allows for a one-year transition programme, studying on a L2 BTEC or L3 Extended Diploma in Mechanical Engineering for two years equivalent to 3 A Levels, which gives learners the opportunity to develop key underpinning skills and knowledge, in fundamental subject areas, such as; Engineering Design, Engineering Mathematics and Computer Aided Design, all taught by industry expert Lecturers.

    School Leavers (16-18)

    Gain skills and a qualification in creating high quality audio recording, with use of our Music Studio. This course is specifically designed to give you an excellent opportunity to develop skills and gain a qualification in producing high quality audio. Skills are developed from both the Musical and Engineering perspective. These are delivered with industry expectations and progression at the core of the curriculum. This is a BTEC qualification equivalent to 1.5 A Levels. It is studied as part of the A Level Programme alongside 2 or 3 other subjects and carries the same UCAS points as 1.5 A Levels!
